Middle School Track and Field
Like with all other sports at Rivermont, our Middle School's Track and Field athletes put in the work necessary during practice to succeed at their meets. And boy, did they succeed! As a team they finished 4th overall with many athletes receiving AT LEAST one ribbon at our end of the season conference meets.

Upper School Play
Once again, under the direction of Mrs. Skaggs the Upper School Theatre Department put on an excellent rendition of Radium Girls, with lead roles played by Grace Moran and Adam Dada. Mrs. Skaggs and her gifted players shared the story of the struggles of women working in dial-painting factories in the early 20th century and their legal battle with the company when they got radium poisoning. A poignant and meaningful tale, Radium Girls awed Rivermont audiences, even bringing some to tears.

PROM!
The Junior Class decided to put on the ritz at this year's Upper School Prom! They put together a flashy, stylish 1920's themed dance held at Quarters One on Arsenal Island. After the flappers took off their beads and feathered headpieces, the after prom festivities commenced at Rivermont Collegiate, with bouncy jousting and Frozen! Needless to say, there are so many good memories from prom that we will never be able to "Let It Go".

Lower School PE Night
Lower School students and their parents came to school for a night of fun and games as students came to show their parents some of their favorite games that they had played in gym class this past year. These games included Capture the Flag, Braveheart, and Battleship!

Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart
Rivermont students once again FAR surpassed expectations for the American Heart Association's Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart event! Our goal was to surpass Rivermont's previous fundraising record of $3,000. We are incredibly excited to announce we raised more than double that amount - $6,084! As promised, that means Mr. Carman wore a duck costume, a momentous event documented by many cameras.
Lower School students had a wonderful time as they jumped together or shot hoops in the gym with music and door prizes. 1st Grade raised the most as a class with $1,889 and earned the privilege of choosing their PE activities for a week. 5th Grade was close behind with $1,085. Great job EVERYONE!
We are grateful to the entire Rivermont Family for their generosity in giving not only to our school, but to such a worthy cause. Not only did we raise thousands of dollars to support the programs, advocacy, and research of the American Heart Association, but Rivermont earned $800 in new PE equipment. Thank you!
